His pinnacle career achievements have been Technical Directing Danny Elfman’s 2022 Coachella set and Production Managing Rocketman Live in Concert, which featured performances from Elton John and Taron Egerton. With meticulous attention to detail, Mike is determined to make sure every component of a production is executed perfectly.

John Kinsner

With an early history of making bootleg mix tapes for his friends and working in arena operations (starting at the age of sixteen), it’s no surprise that John has emerged as one of the most skilled producers in the industry. Over the past twenty years, John has produced, created, and managed a multitude of full-scale tours, galas, world premieres, media shoots, red carpet events, and awards shows. His work includes collaborations with Disney, Ken Ehrlich, John Cossette, Jesse Collins, Tyler Perry, Elton John, and the Academy of Theatrical Arts and Sciences; and tours with promoters such as Louis Messina, Arthur Fogel, John Meglen and Paul Gongaware. As the visionary founder of Black Ink, John pursues his passion for producing unique and creative experiences through music, events, and media.

Alek has honed his wide-ranging skill set over the past fifteen years working in the arts and entertainment industries. He has produced large-scale concerts and live events, designed video, sound, and lights for plays and dance performances, installed state-of-the-art technical systems for both new and existing venues, and even directed a world premiere modern dance piece. He continues to explore new possibilities in the live events world, with a particular interest in how emerging technologies can be used to augment performances. His background as a sound and video designer for theatre and dance has taught him how to solve challenging creative and technical problems even when resources are extremely limited.
